L.I.T. (Leaders in Training Class) The leaders in Training class is designed for young people ages 14+ to have an opportunity to come together to explore more about the word of God and their personal relationships with Christ. We explore topics like salvation, God's love, school issues, dating and everything in between. Class meets from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays at the WCC church office. The address is 8804D Peartree Village Court, Alexandria, VA 22309. Bring your bibles, pen and paper and an open heart! Be prepared to see God move in your life!
L.I.T Outings:
Saturday, Jan 28th, $13.50 for two games of Laser Tag at Shadowland, 5508 Franconia Road. Alexandria, VA 22310. We will be leaving the church office promptly at noon and returning at 3 pm. Bring extra money if you would like to purchase a snack.
Saturday, Feb 25th, Bowling at AMF Alexandria Lanes. 6228 North Kings Hwy. Alexandria, VA 22303. We will leave the church office around noon and return around 3 pm. Price TBD as we are checking on group rates. \\


Awakening Group The Awakening class is designed for 7th and 8th graders; we meet during the regular church right after praise and worship in the cafeteria. Our first class will be on Sunday, Jan 8th! Students will begin to explore the Word of God through teaching, games, media, object lessons, and/or bible lessons. Bring your bibles and an open heart! We will have weekly prizes for participation and questions.
Awakening Retreat
April 20-22nd, 2012. Camp Andrews in PA. Age group between 14-18 yrs old. $75.00 per person, includes lodging for two nights, 5 meals and all materials. More details to come in the near future.
